Elizabeth Taylor: First Actress in Hollywood to Earn 1 Million Dollars For a Movie and Hollywood Legend Died at Cedars Sinai Hospital In LA.



Elizabeth Taylor had died at Cedars Sinai Hospital in  Los Angeles on March 23, 2011 at the age of 79. It was reported that she had only weighed 98 pounds at the time of her death. Her final two weeks  were on a respirator. Ms. Taylor had 4 children, 10 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. Her net worth was estimated to be around 600 million dollars.
The actress was born on February 27, 1932  in Hamstead, London, England.  Her parents were Americans living in the UK. Her father was an art dealer, and mother was an actress.  Both  parents were from, Arkansas City, Kansas.
She had acted in her first feature film when she was 9 years old called, There Was One Born Every Minute.  She was featured in the highly acclaimed National Velvet in 1944 at the age of 14 with Micky Rooney. Elizabeth Taylor was married to 8 different people.  She was married to actor, Richard Burton twice.

Sir Elton John had accepted the award on her behalf. She was admitted to the Cedars Sinai Hospital in Beverly Hills, California. She had died from  congestive heart disease which she has had problems with since 2004.  Ms Taylor was 79 years old, and  most of the time was  in a wheel chair when she was in public. She had homes in ; Bel Air, London, Palm Springs and Hawaii. CNN's Larry King had been a good friend of Elizabeth Taylor and was quoted as saying that she was, 'larger than life.'
