Julia Roberts and Tom Hanks always brought in big bucks to the movie studios.  This summer the two had co-starred in, Larry Crowne.  Hanks started to promote the movie very early in the year, but it did not help the popularity of the film.  The movie had grossed just 3 million dollars opening weekend.  Monte Carlo  featuring, Selena Gomez even did worst with only earning 1.3 million dollars.
