Anderson Cooper in Japan on CNN |
Anderson Cooper is one of the best journalist in America today. He has been on CNN for a very long time and has his own show, Anderson Cooper 360. He had graduated from Yale and graduated from the Dalton school in Manhattan. It is the same school where Chevy Chase graduated. He also is the great, great, great grandson of Cornelius Vanderbilt. He is very brave. He has traveled all over the world from Haiti to New Orleans after hurricane Katrina. He lives in New York where his mom, Gloria Vanderbilt lives. Mr. Cooper had an older brother who had committed suicide when he was only 23 and his father died when Anderson was young. There is no doubt that Mr Cooper is a major asset for CNN. On a personal level, he lives in New York City and in a very unusual home. In September, 2009, he had purchased a former firehouse that is 8,240 sf for 4.3 million dollars. It is located at 84 west 3rd street, between Sullivan and Thompson street. Vogue magazine editor, Anna Wintour only lives 1 1/2 blocks down on Sullivan street. Prior to buying this home, Mr Cooper had lived on 38 street in a duplex apartment.
