James McAvoy was born on April 21, 1979 in Port Glasgow, Scotland. His first big break in acting was when he starred in Steven Spielberg's, Band  of Brothers. That was not his first acting job, but it was the role that got him attention.  Since then he had been in Atonement, Chronicles of Narnia, Last King of Scotland, Gmomeo and Juliett, X Men-first class as professor X and Robert Redford's, the Conspirator.  He is off to London to work on, Grass Crown for a  2012 release.  Robert Redford told Piers Morgan on CNN that he knew that he wanted  James for the role in the Conspirator.  Mr Redford made it clear that James McAvoy was the guy for the  role and he didn't want to consider anyone else. James was also interviewed by Piers Morgan and was a delightful intelligent man.  When asked which Redford  film he liked best?  McAvoy said that he loved Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and Barefoot in the Park. There is talk that James may play grunge singer Kurt Cobain in Heavier than Heaven. James McAvoy  is destined to be one of the hottest actors in Hollywood.
