Ricky Gervaise was on Dave Letterman's show for the 18th time.  He looked great after losing a lot of weight. He did not mention how much, but he looked fantastic!  He talked about hosting the Golden Globe awards and Letterman read out a sample of some of the jokes that Gervaise had used for the show when he hosted it. These are the same jokes that many people who were at the show got angry about.  Letterman's audience went crazy and loved the jokes. Gervaise proceeded  to say  that he never meant to harm anyone.  There is no doubt that when people are in the public eye that they have to have a good sense of humor.Gervaise also gave a picture of a blue plaque for Dave because it was in honor of Letterman spending a week at the Russell Square Hotel  in 1972 and was reported to drink at the pub there. Letterman loved it.  The two comedians have a great rapport.  Gervaise suggested that they do a show together also starring Jon Stewart and Conan O'Brien.  Letterman said he couldn't do it because he didn't want to leave home.
