The American Idol host wears many hats.  He is reported to be earning around 55 million dollars this year between hosting American Idol for 15 million, 20 million with clear channel and more money with NBC Universal for E and other projects. There are suggestions that he may be launching his own network.  When asked how he feels Seacrest states, 'he is busy and tired.'
