40 Years After Jim Morrison's Death, Ray Manzarek and Robbie Krieger from the Doors Will Perform in Paris on July 3, 2011

The 3rd July 2011 marks the 40th anniversary of the death of Jim Morrison from the Doors in Paris. Jim Morrison was a legendary lead singer of one of the world’s most famous Rock Bands, The Doors. Rolling Stone Magazine had listed Morrison as number 47 out of the top 100 rock singers ever. The Latin Quarter is where he ate and drank. He was found dead in his bath tub in his rented apartment. His grave is in Pere Lachaise Cemetery. There will be a concert at La Cigale in Paris where the two founder members of the Doors, Ray Manzarek and Robby Krieger play some of the Band's most iconic songs in a special anniversary concert at le Bataclan in Paris.
