Ashton Kutcher Vs. Charlie Sheen: How will the number of Twitter followers affect their success and who will be the winner of 2.5 Men?

Charlie Sheen and John Cryer on Two and a Half Men, CBS

There is no doubt that if there were to be anyone to replace Charlie Sheen that Ashton Kutcher is the best choice.  It was reported that Ashton will receive  a salary of 1 million dollars per episode and there were  no reports on what he makes in backended salaries.  If the show is a success then he probably will get paid for reruns.
Sheen did a great job while on Two and a Half Men and turned it into the number one show on television in America.  There are big question marks regarding whether or not Kutcher can bring back the show to the same audience level.  Kutcher is popular. He has 6 million followers on Twitter and Sheen at the moment has 4 million.  Kutcher was on Twitter for a much longer time than Sheen and he will probably surpass Kutcher's number by the end of the year.  There is a big gap between the ages of the two actors. Kutcher is 33 and Sheen is 49.  Kutcher is very handsome and Sheen at the moment looks very tired.  Beauty does carry a lot of weight, but for some reason it seems like it will be hard to replace the actor who was on the show for so many years.  Also, since there are reruns of the show it will be a bit strange with a new guy with the old  cast.
Kutcher is great for TV, but for some reason I have my doubts on the success of the show and only time will tell.
