From food supplements to cosmetic products, glutathione was known as an effective ingredient in skin whitening. Now, glutathione is injected directly in veins for allegedly more potent effect. But the Food and Drugs Administration strongly opposed to this practice, as injecting glutathione can put your health at risk.
