Osama Bin Laden Dead! "Hurt Locker," Director Kathryn Bigelow Had Her Own Execution Planned of Terrorist, Osama Bin Laden in a New Feature Film, but Reality forced Script to be Revised

In the aftermath of one of the most dramatic moments in American history, one of Hollywood's most talented directors might have been affected most. Academy Award winning director, Kathryn Bigelow, who is best known for 2008's The Hurt Locker, had plans for filming a movie centered around an operation to kill Osama Bin Laden. However, now that the crucified villian was executed on Sunday May 1st by U.S security forces in Pakistan, Bigelow will have to alter her script, as the film was meant to document a fictitious account of the operation against Bin Laden. Both Bigelow and Hurt Locker, screenwriter, Mark Boal, have been working on a script for the film for the past year and plan on beginning filming this summer. According to Variety, Bigelow and Boal will have to consider amending the original script in light of the recent events. It will be interesting to see how the script is altered.
