Doris Day is 87 years old and hails from Cincinnati,Ohio. She had recorded more than 600 songs in her career with such stars as Les Brown and Bob Hope. It was just announced that she will be releasing a new album at the age of 87. This will be the first record release in 20 years. Her son, Terry Melcher who had died in 2004 was her producer. She has one song on it that will be dedicated to him, See You in My Dreams.
The album will also have unreleased songs that were recorded in 1985. Ms. Day has been an animal activist and even has a web site: ddaf.org. She is a wonderful inspiration for all of us!
