Beach Boys Tour Member, Glenn Campbell Has Alzheimer's Disease: Singer Announced One Last Tour and Album before He Retires

According to the LA Times, singer, Glenn Campbell has announced that he will release one last album and will do one last tour before he hangs up his hat for retirement.  The performer had announced that he has Alzheimer's disease.  His album, Ghost on a Canvass is due to be released on August 30, 2011. Glen Campbell was one of 12 children who was born on April 22, 1936.  He is 75 years old today. He was born in a tiny town called, Delight, Arkasas. His uncle Boo taught him how to play guitar.  He moved to Los Angeles and early in his career he performed with the Beach Boys when they were on tour.  In 1964 and 1965 he had filled in for Brian Wilson.  He also is know for playing the guitar for the hit song, Tequila. He had many hit songs throughout his career. Some of them are: Galveston and By the Time I Get to Phoenix.
