Vidal Sassoon is Battling Leukemia: Hairdresser was Popular in 1960's for Mia Farrows Pixie Cut and Mary Quant Bob

Mia Farrow had her hair cut short by Vidal Sassoon for the 1968 film, Rosemary's Baby.  It was a request by director, Roman Polanski who even had it done in front of the media. 
It was reported  that hairstylist and hair product mogul, Vidal Sassoon has admitted that he has been struggling with leukemia.  He has had the disease for 2 years and kept it quiet until now. He lives in Beverly Hills with his wife in a 8.5 million dollar home.  He has been getting treatment there and in London. In 2002

Mr. Sassoon lost his daughter, Catya to a drug overdose.  He decided that working was the only way to overcome the depression from such a tragedy. Sassoon's empire has earned more than 100 million dollars.
