Rare Photograph of "The Doors," Jim Morrison with His Father on A Boat in 1964

Jim Morrison from the Doors died 40 years ago in Paris, France. He had not been  living there that long. Jim  was know to be a very bright young man who loved to read.  His father was a successful man in the Navy.  He had been  promoted to being an Admiral.  Jim's father stated that his son loved boats, but would never spend any time joining the military. The two had a very different outlook on life.
