Secret Garden male star Hyun Bin won the prestigious Daesang, or grand prize, in the 47th Baeksang Art Awards held last night at Kyunghee University’s Hall of Peace in Seoul, South Korea.
Hyun Bin won as the Drama Actor of the Year in the TV category for his role in top-rating drama series “Secret Garden" which is currently being show on GMA Netwrok, however Hyun Bin is currently serving in the Korean military and was unable to personally receive his award.

The ceremony recognized excellence in TV and film in South Korea for 2010.
In the TV category, “Secret Garden” won the Drama of the Year award, edging out “Dong Yi” which will be shown on GMA Network as well, “Baker King Kim Tak Gu”, which was just concluded on GMa three weeks ago, “Sungkyunkwan Scandal” and “Giant.”
The Baeksang Art Awards, which started in 1965, was presented by IS Plus Corporation.
