"In the Name of Love" hits P106.66 Million in 3 Weeks

Star Cinema's 18th anniversary presentation “In the Name of Love” starring Aga Muhlach, Angel Locsin and Jake Cuenca already raked a whopping P106.66 million box-office receipts in 3 weeks.

The movie which is still showing in some theaters nationwide became the second Filipino produced movie to surpass the P100 million mark this year after another Star Cinema movie “Catch Me…I’m In Love” starring Sarah Geronimo and Gerald Anderson which already have a box-office record of P120.21 million.

"In The Name Of Love" grossed P89.87 million revenues in 2 weeks

"In The Name Of Love" starring Aga Muhlach and Angel Locsin now grossed P89.87 million revenues in just a span of 2 weeks.

 

Adding P42.56M to its 1st 5-day gross the previous week (May 11-15), "In The Name Of Love" now has an accumulated 12-day total of P89.87M as of May 22, the 2nd highest-grossing Pinoy film so far this 2011, and definitely will pass the P100M mark.

For its 3rd week, "In The Name of Love" is now facing two giants Hollywood movies: "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tide" which is now the highest grossing film of all-time and the new release "Kung Fu Panda 2".
