"Cut Throat Carly" pin up photo shoot-ric woods photography

Carly commissioned us to create her "retro pin up portfolio". She came to the studio armed with a collection of amazing clothes and then her and Amanda her mother/assistant/coach layed out a wardrobe that we could have spent days shooting.

Professional presentation was key word in this shoot ,all the clothes came pressed and on hangers, the shoes we like art pieces. Maree did her make up magic and we were ready to create "Images with an Edge".

The most difficult part of the photo shoot was deciding which outfit was the best...The Sailor Suit...
This Killer "Spanish" influence full skirt with yards of petticote..

..OR...this huge cluster of balloons...

We also created a collection of romantic monochrome portraits at the end of the Photo Shoot...

Metso Minerals (aust) Ltd - Sreen and Test Bed photo shoot (behind the scenes)

Maree Nichols the other half of our studio takes shelter behind the whibal card (for acurate skin tones)

Metso Mineral ( aust) Ltd's latest Screen (above) mounted on the yellow test bed. This test bed is designed the SHAKE but NOT BREAK!!
The staff make fantastic mining equipment in their Carrington workshop.
As a photographer its important to tell the whole story, with and without people in the images.
The engineers want to see sharp and clean images as hi res files. This not the place for "art" shots.Consistent exposure with good colour in mixed lighting is very important. These proof images have very little editing added.Non are sharpened.
We shoot in both portrait and landscape format of the image and allow for text over image
Different points of view are included for our clients from which they choose their final images. Clients want to see staff and equipment presented at their best s we we do not send unedited images. The cost of post production of course is at an hourly rate, and that depends on the quantity of images selected.
Behind the scenes video (below) sorry about the colour cast that appeared whilst CRUSHING the video for the web and the soundtrack background noise ...
THAT'S INDUSTRIAL PHOTOGRAPHY !
It's a real buzz when the clients are pleased with the images we have created for them........
