Kate Middlton's Tiara Was Borrowed from The Queen:The 1936 Cartier crown has a very special history

Kate Middleton on day of her wedding to Prince William. 
Kate Middleton wore a Cartier, 1936 "halo" tiara. The beautiful  crown that was lent by the Queen of England for her wedding to Prince William. The crown was commissioned by the Duke of York (who later became King George VI). She wore it on top of her ivory tulle veil to hold it in place.
