Jackie Cooper  was born September 15, 1922 in Los Angeles.  His father left home when he was only 2 years old and was raised by his mother who was a stage pianist and actress.  He got his fist job in acting when he appeared with his grandmother as an xtra.  Jackie Cooper  was known for such great films as; Skippy, 1931, Our Gang, The Champ in 1931 and Treasure Island, 1934.  As he got older it was much harder for him to get jobs in acting.  Some say that he was not the best looking guy during his adolescence and had turned to doing TV shows. Some include; Hennesey and the People's Choice, and Legal Justice in 1954.
He later went on to other TV shows for acting and also did some directing. Jackie Cooper  retired from the entertainment business in 1989 and  went on to train race horses at Hollywood Park in California.  He was married 3 times; June Horne 1940-44 and the couple had one son, Jack Cooper. His second wife was Hildy Parks and the marriage only lasted for one year, 1950-1951.  His last marriage was to Barbara Kraus 1954 to her death in 2009.  The couple had 3 kids and only one is living today.  In 1982, Jackie Cooper wrote an autobiography, Please Don't Shoot My Dog. He used that title because he was told by his uncle who directed, Skippy in 1931 that if he didn't cry in the movie that he would shoot his dog.  That horrible comment must have been vivid in Mr Cooper's memory til his death. Mr Cooper received a star on the "Hollywood Walk of Fame."  Jackie Cooper died at a hospital in Beverly Hills on May 3, 2011.

Ms Burton  was in New York the week following the wedding to honor her former boss, Alexander McQueen at a star studded event at the museum.  There has been a lot of chatter regarding Sarah Burton's statements regarding her experience with designing a wedding gown for Ms. Middleton.  It was reported by Mailonline that she admitted that the design of the dress was a 50/50 joint venture.  'Kate had her thoughts on what she wanted.'  As for getting caught the night before the wedding by a photographer, 'I kinda blew it when I was caught by a photographer running into the Goring hotel to see Kate.'  The designer had also spent some time at Saks Fifth Avenue in New.

It is done the first week after a boy is born.  Mr. Ritchie had underwent the surgery to please his wife. Wow! that is a true sign of affection.  Mr. Ritchie is one of a few celebrities who was invited to the Royal wedding.

Her most recent film, Pirates of Caribbean: On Strange Tides co-stars with Johnny Depp.  This is the first Caribbean film that she has been in and her part is a female pirate. She admitted that while filming she was pregnant and they were on an island with no bathroom and she had to pee in the ocean.

It is amazing that people have nothing better to do than to make fun of someone. The number of people is now over 123,000 who commented on the hat that Princess Beatrice wore to the wedding of Kate Middleton and Prince William.  Many people had gone through such length to do Photoshop to make pictures to poke fun out of the Princess.

Someone who made a comment about Princess Beatrice's hat actually went so far to get Marge Simpson involved in the feedback regarding the hat.

Someone had set up a special page on Facebook designed to comment on the Philip Treacy hat that Princess Beatrice had worn to the Royal Wedding on April 29, 2011 in London. The page is called, Princess Beatrice Ridiculous Royal Wedding Hat" and it is doing well.  Just after a few days, the group had 120,000 people who made comments.  Beatrice is the daughter of Fergie (who was not invited ) to the wedding of Kate Middleton to Prince William.  OK.  We all have our thoughts on what we think about the hat, but it is way too  nasty to start a special Facebook group to comment on the hat.  Sadly, most people had terrible comments about the hat and and  Beatrice must feel awful about wearing it.

The TelePrompTer Corp was founded in the 1950s by Fred Barton Jr. and Hubert J. (Hub) Schlafly (1919-2011), and Irving Berlin Kahn.    Barton was an actor who suggested the concept of the teleprompter as a means of assisting television performers who had to memorize large amounts of material in a short time^. Schlafly built the first teleprompter in 1950. It was simply a mechanical device, operated by a hidden technician, located near the camera^. The script was printed on a paper scroll, which was advanced as the performer read. In 1952, former President Herbert Hoover used a Schlafly-designed teleprompter to address the Republican National Convention in Chicago, Illinois
The first personal computer–based teleprompter, Computer Prompt, appeared in 1982. It was invented and marketed by Courtney M. Goodin and Laurence B. Abrams in Hollywood California The custom software and specially-redesigned camera hardware ran on the Atari 800 Personal Computer which featured liquid smooth hardware-assisted scrolling. Their company later became ProPrompt, Inc., which is still providing teleprompting services over 28 years later. Other paper-based teleprompting companies – Electronic Script Prompting, QTV and Telescript – followed suit and developed their own software several years later, when computers with enough graphics power to provide the smooth scrolling text became available. Kate Middleton and Prince William received a new title Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on Friday, April 29, 2011.  The title will keep the couple connected to Ireland and Scotland. They will keep the title until Prince Charles becomes the King of England.

The times have changed and so have the numbers of people who watched the Royal wedding of Kate Middlton to Prince William.  According to the Nielson ratings, there were 22.8 million viewers who tuned in to watch the wedding between 6 a.m. and 7:15 a.m. EST.  That is much higher compared to the wedding of Princess Diana and Prince Charles in 1981, which was 14.2 million people in the US.  The wedding of Charles to Camilla was only 3.2 million people. According to the Hollywood Reporter, there were 11 US networks who carried the wedding live; ABC, CBS, NBC, Telemundo, Univision, BBC America, CNN, E, Fox News, MSNBC, and TLC.

Nick Cannon who is 30 years old and Mariah Carey 42 announced the birth of twins today in Los Angeles. The babies were born at 9:07 p.m. PT on the couple's 3rd wedding  anniversary. The lucky couple had a boy and a girl.  The boy was 5 pounds 6 ounces,  and girl was 5 pounds 3 ounces.  No names have been released yet of the babies. Nick drove Mariah to the hospital in a Rolls Royce Phantom and it was reported in the L.A. Times that  he got lost in the hospital from so much excitement.
