Sarah Burton Talks about Kate Middleton's Wedding Dress : 'Collaboration was 50/50'

Sara Burton is pictured here in New York City at the Metropolitan Museum.  She was the designer of Kate Middleton's wedding dress and dress that she wore for her evening party. Ms Burton  was in New York the week following the wedding to honor her former boss, Alexander McQueen at a star studded event at the museum.  There has been a lot of chatter regarding Sarah Burton's statements regarding her experience with designing a wedding gown for Ms. Middleton.  It was reported by Mailonline that she admitted that the design of the dress was a 50/50 joint venture.  'Kate had her thoughts on what she wanted.'  As for getting caught the night before the wedding by a photographer, 'I kinda blew it when I was caught by a photographer running into the Goring hotel to see Kate.'  The designer had also spent some time at Saks Fifth Avenue in New.
