Penelope Cruz is the first Spanish actress to get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in L.A. in April, 2011.

Penelope Cruz was born on April 28, 1974 in Madrid, Spain.  Her dad was a mechanic, and mom a hair dresser. Her first acting role was when she was 16 years old.  She is married to actor, Javier Barnem.  She recently admitted to Jay Leno that she doesn't have a driver's license because she is afraid of driving.  She also said  that her husband, Javier Barnem doesn't drive. Her most recent film, Pirates of Caribbean: On Strange Tides co-stars with Johnny Depp.  This is the first Caribbean film that she has been in and her part is a female pirate. She admitted that while filming she was pregnant and they were on an island with no bathroom and she had to pee in the ocean.
