Maria Menounos's "Everygirl's Guide to Life"

Maria Menounos was born on June 8, 1978 in Medford, Mass.  She had attended Emerson College and in her senior year she got a gig on Channel One.  Only a year later in 2002 she was hired by ET- Entertainment Tonight.  She had worked there for 3 years and went into acting.  She was in films and TV shows.  In April, 2011 she added author to her list of jobs when her book, Everygirl's Guide to Life was published.  She wanted to do the book because she was asked by many people for her advice on making it in the world.  Maria had worked on the book for two full years and said that she wanted to include everything that was important to know.  Some of her tips are: 'People show remain in Kaizen.  You should keep your mind in a continuous state of improvement.' Also, 'when you are young you should hang out with older people, and when you are old you should hang out with younger people to keep your mind fresh and young at heart.'  She also states that 'you should be organized and if there is one lesson in particular that is necessary, it is to stay positive and open minded.'
