Law and Order SVU had recently signed her contract for returning to the show for season 13.It was reported that Ms. Hargitay was earning around 385,000 dollars per episode. This year she will be seen less because her character, detective Olivia Benson has been promoted. There is talk that Jennifer Love Hewit will be stepping into her shoes as the new detective on the show. According to
TV Guide, Ms Hewit was a guest on the show and the results were very good and rumor has it that she is the new detective in town.
