"Law and Order SVU'S," Mariska Hargitay Promoted on Show. Speculation Jennifer Love Hewitt Will Step into New Detective Shoes

Mariska Hargitay was born on January 23, 1964  in L.A.  She is the daughter of sex symbol, Jayne Mansfield.

Jennifer Love Hewitt was born on February 21, 1979 in Waco, Texas.

Mariska Hargitay, star of Law and Order SVU had recently signed her contract for returning to the show for season 13.It was reported that Ms. Hargitay was earning around 385,000 dollars per episode.  This year she will be seen less because  her character, detective Olivia Benson has been promoted. There is talk that Jennifer Love Hewit will be stepping into her shoes as the new detective on the show. According to TV Guide, Ms Hewit was a guest on the show and the results were very good and rumor has it that she is the new detective in town.

Kings of Leon lead singer, Caleb got married to Victoria's Secret Model, Lily Aldredge in California. The ceremony was held at the San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California.  Lilly wore a strapless dress designed by, Vera Wang and her new husband, Caleb Followill  wore  a suit by Gucci. Gwyneth Paltrow and her husband, lead singer from Coldplay, Chris Martin were at the ceremony.  The Kings of Leon will be back on tour by the end of May in Europe and back in the US by July 2011.  The band was formed in 1999 in Juliet, Tennessee.
The couple met when Lily Aldredge starred in the music video for the Kings of Leon song,  "Use Somebody."  The couple had been dating for 2 full years before the marriage.
