Lindsay Lohan Talks: Jail Time, Dating, Gotti, Her Family, Cooking, and Where She Would Rather Live

Lindsay Lohan on Leno, NBC
Lindsay Lohan on Leno, NBC
Lindsay Lohan was a guest on Leno on April 26, 2011.  It  was a few days after her appearance in front of the Judge in L.A. where she was told that she had to go to jail and do community service at the morgue and at the homeless shelter for women.  She appeared to have aged a bit and was nervous to be on TV. Jay had made an effort to be nice to her and tried to talk about the legal case. When he had asked her about how she felt when she found the results of her jail term  Lindsay said, ' I was treated the way that should have been.' As for what she wants to do regarding her career. 'I want to change the public perception about my work. I want people to see me for my work and not what I do personally.'  She did not want to talk about her case since it was still pending.  However, she did say,  'The court  order of  120 days in jail  was a good wake up call. Everything happens for a reason.'
When asked about her support, she said,  'my mom is amazing and her sister and brother are great.'  as for where she prefers to live she said New York because she has more freedom there and she has a lot of friends there.  She did say that she likes to stay home, cook and there is no one in her love life at the moment.  She lucked out to get a part in the Gotti movie which  is estimated to have a budget of 75 million and stars John Travolta.  Only time will tell with what happens to her career.

The Way to a Man's Heart

Just thought I'd post this since it's one of my favorite
contemporaries, re-released now as an ebook with
It was originally a Kensington Precious Gem .

I love the cover and the story goes:

It’s getting hot in Christy Evans’ kitchen! Kyle Warren, the boy next door she made sure to avoid in high school, has moved back home and he’s turning up the heat. Keeping her distance has never been so difficult. This time around Kyle’s helping her with her catering business, Edible Delights, being a good neighbor and refusing to take no for an answer. Her defenses are crumbling like undercooked cobbler ... can she keep denying the gorgeous man who looks at her like she’s his next “edible delight”?

It's a fast-paced, emotion-packed story about the girl-next-door-who-got-away.And was recently nominated for the CAPA award.

Hope you check it out at Cobblestone Press and enjoy!
