It is hard to believe that Family Guy will be entering season number 10, but it is true. Mr McFarlane and Fox had come to an agreement for season 10 to be in place. The Cleveland Show was also renewed by the network for season 4.  It was also reported that sometime in 2012 actress, Cate Blanchett will be a guest on one episode of Family Guy.

It is official that Paul McCartney and Nancy Shevell are engaged.  Nancy is the second cousin to Barbara Walters and the two are very close. This will be Ms. Shevell's second marriage, and Paul's third.  His first wife, Linda lasted til her death in 1998. There were married since 1969 and met him when she was working as a photographer. Paul's second round at marriage was in 2002 when he had married Heather Mills. The couple had one child, Beatrice who lives in England.  McCartney's relationship with Nancy Shevell stated around 2008, but the couple knew each other for many years. The engagement ring that Paul gave is a 5 caret diamond ring that dates back to 1925.  It was reported to cost around 650,000 dollars.

Marie Osmond just came out with a new CD with her brother, Donny.  He is 53 and she is 51 years old. The two had worked together in the 1970's co-starring in their own TV show. The new album, Donny and Marie is he first album that they had done in 30 years.  It was produced by Buddy and Cannon who is know for producing for country and western star, Kenny Chesney.  Marie also just got married for the third time to Stephen Craig on May 4th,2011.  The first time the couple married was  in 1982.  The marriage only lasted 3 years and they had one child.  Marie was very frugal about the wedding for she wore the same wedding dress that she wore in 1982.  Donnie and Marie had performed a song from their new album on, The View and it was really good.

Ann Curry was born on November 19, 1956 in Guam.  Her father was a career Navy man and mother is Japanese.   Ann had graduated from the University of Oregon.  Her first break in broadcasting came in 1978 when she worked as in intern at a NBC affiliate in Medford, Oregon. She later moved to Chicago and finally on March 11, 1977 she went to The Today Show in New York. In 2005 Ms Curry began hosting Dateline NBC.
She is married to Brian Ross who is a fantastic investigative reporter for the show.  The couple have 2 children.  Ann Curry will be the co-host with Matt Lauer  in June on The Today Show. She is replacing Meredith Vieira after hosting The Today  Show for 5 years.  Ms, Vieira announced leaving the show so she could spend more time with her family.  According to the Hollywood Reporter, The Today Show has had a half billion dollars in ad revenues for 2010.

The Beaver was directed by Jodie Foster and starred her friend, Mel Gibson. There were good comments about his acting in the film , but there were  not good numbers at the box office. The film was distributed to 22 theaters and earned a  tiny total 104,000 dollars. That is only 4,755 dollars per screen.  Mel Gibson created a lot of controversy with his girlfriend when she aired the tapes of him talking to her on the phone. Sometimes it is not enough to be a good actor and have a good script.  It also depends on how much the public like the actor. Perhaps his career is over and people don't want to see him any more.

Ellie Goulding when she performed in Amsterdam in 2010.  She was born on December 30, 1986. She is an English singer and songwriter.  Ellie grew up in Ipwich, England and is the second of 4 kids in her family. She started writing songs at the age of 9 and learned how to play guitar at 14 year old.  She is very successful in Great Britain and now has made her way to America. One thing you may not know about her is that she loves to run. She will often times do 6 miles per day.  In some cases will invite fans to join in on the workout.  This girl has a lot of talent and we will be seeing a lot more of her in years to come.

All eyes will be on Rosie Napravnik today in the Kentucky Derby.  She is the only female jockey who will be in the race in Louisville, Kentucky.  She hails from New Jersey and her mother is a horse trainer.  Julie had been riding horses her entire life. Most recently, she had won the Louisiana derby.  Diane Crump was the first jockey and Julie Krone is the only female rider who is in the hall of fame.  She left the business in 2004.  Lets wish her luck today.

Donna Douglas, the actress who starred in the 1960' hit show, The Beverly Hillbillies has filed a law suit against the Matel toy company regarding her dismay for the new Ellie May Barbie doll. It was released in December, 2010 by the Matel toy company.  The suit was filed in Baton Rouge, La. stating that there was unauthorized use of the likeness and image to promote and sell the doll. Douglas states that she never endorsed the product.  CBS TV Distributions owns the rights to the show, and Matel stated that they had gone through the appropriate channels for licencing the doll.  It was reported that Douglas is seeking 75,000 dollars damage.  Douglas had starred in 274 episodes of the show which aired from 1961-1971. Douglas, was married twice and had one son. She was born on September 26,1933 and is 77 years old.  She still works today making special appearances at churches.  After she left  the Beverly Hillbillies, she got a broker's license, but never worked in the area. She currently lives in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where she grew up.

Lady Gaga will be the coach who will work with the four finalist on American Idol next week on Fox.  She is only 25 years old, but has a lot of experience and success under her belt to be a voice coach. She will work with record producer Jimmy Iovine on the show to advise the performers.  It was also reported that Stevie Nicks may perform on the show too.

According to Coldwell Banker, the house that once used in the 1990,  20th Century Fox film, Home Alone is up for sale.  It was the house that McCauley Culkin lived in.  It can be purchased for 2.4 million dollars. The home was purchased in 1988 for 875,000 dollars.   The Home Alone house  is 4250 s.f and has 14 rooms and 3.5 baths.  In the same neck of the woods in Chicago, but a different suburb is the home used in the Ferris Bueller's Day Off  house.  It was on the market for 2.3 million, but only got an offer of 1.65 million and was taken off the market.

The latest James Bond movie production  is currently referred to as, Bond 23.  The movie stars, Daniel Craig and will be distributed by Sony.  There are reports that the movie is drumming up money by using product placement. Many companies want to be part of the action-packed feature film and so far there is 45 million dollars raised for  product placement in the film.  The second highest amount raised for product placement was the film, Minority Report raking up 20 million dollars".
